About Emma Styles
I have been a practising veterinary surgeon since 1989 and am a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. I studied veterinary acupuncture in the UK and Australia, and was awarded the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2002.
IVAS and the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA) promote the teaching and practice of both western and traditional Chinese veterinary acupuncture methods. I am a member of both these organisations and in order to maintain my IVAS certification I complete a prescribed amount of approved continuing education every two years.
